The Hang Seng Pearl River Delta Environmental Awards was established by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) and Hang Seng Bank in 2007. The Awards aim to recognize and encourage sound environmental practices by manufacturing companies (including transportation and logistics) in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta (PRD) region.

The HKAEE Awards was organized by the Environmental Campaign Committee to recognize organizations in 11 sectors for their outstanding environmental performance. The assessment criteria were Green Leadership, Programmes & Performance and Partner Synergy.

The “Hong Kong Energy Efficiency Registration Scheme for Buildings” set up by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department provides official registration to buildings complying with the Building Energy Codes of Practice. AAT is proud to be the first amongst cargo terminal in Hong Kong to receive its certification on 5 September 2009.

Organized by Friends of the Earth (HK). AAT has carried-out a range of improvement and enhancement projects including renewal of water-chillers and lightings upgrade, reducing electricity consumption by 16.8%.
