In order to maximize the operational efficiency of truck docks and parking facilities at AAT, the details of the hourly parking charge scheme are summarized as follows:

Charging Scheme of Hourly Parking

#    AAT reserves the right to reject the application for pre-registration.

*    Vehicles exceeding the free dwell time allowance will be charged hourly for the whole period it remained in the terminal, in addition to the administration fees for the issuance of single-entry i-Pass (HKD$80.00).

**    The period when any vehicle remains at tenant controlled truck dock area/ tenants entitled parking slot would not be charged hourly rate. If all tenant’s entitled parking slots are occupied, the vehicle with the latest entry time will be charged as “Non-Business Related” vehicle, until such a time when any entitled parking slot becomes available. 

Terms & Conditions:

• Vehicles that do not possess a valid i-Pass, shall proceed to the Facility Management Office (FMO) to apply for a single-entry i-Pass (The administration fee for the issuance of a single-entry i-Pass is HK$80.00).
• Vehicles entering AAT’s tenants controlled truck dock or warehouse area (the tenants including both AAT’s tenants and AAS’ tenants) shall be subject to gate charge which is HK$120.00.
• A period of free dwell time will be given to vehicles, which have COMPLETED the business related activity according to the declared entry purpose.
• Visitors performing more than one cargo related activity are required to leave the assigned truck dock, re-enter the truck park area after completing the first entry purpose, and declare the second entry purpose to enjoy free dwell time allowance for multiple purpose vehicle.
• A notification from the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) will be made to the registered mobile number 30 minutes, before the expiry of the free dwell time allowance for all vehicles entering under cargo related purpose.
• Rates are based on per hour or part thereof, i.e. vehicles parked for less than 1 hour will be charged 1 hour parking fee.
• Failure to present the entrance slip will result in an administration fee of HK$120.00, unless there is a valid reason that can be verified by the FMO.
• The FMO is responsible for the collection of hourly parking fees and any other related administration fees. Only CASH is accepted for settlement of hourly parking charges.
• All outstanding payment must be settled at the FMO before leaving AAT Terminals. Vehicles will be given a grace period of 30 minutes after settlement of hourly parking charges and any other related administration fee. Vehicle, failing to leave within the grace period is subject to further hourly parking charge under non-business related purpose.
• If the vehicle driver fails to settle any outstanding charges before his arrival at exit gate, the vehicle driver should drive the vehicle to designated temporary parking areas under the supervision of an FMO staff, and proceed to the FMO for payment. The temporary parking areas are GX1, GX2/3 (outside FMO) and the car park space next to Western By-pass. Vehicles that fail to comply with this requirement may be subject to penalty, and/or be banned from entering AAT terminals.
• NO hourly charge would be imposed on any vehicle in case of system failure of AAT. AAT reserves the right to make final decision.
• AAT reserves the right to reject any application for pre-registration.
• AAT reserves the right to vary, delete, amend or add to the above terms and conditions from time to time without advance notice.
• AAT and the FMO reserve the right to adjust/ finalize the amount of outstanding hourly parking charge of a vehicle without further notice.
• This policy is available in both English and Chinese. In the event of any inconsistency, the English version shall prevail.
