Welcome Mandala Airlines
We are pleased to announce that Mandala Airlines has appointed AAT as its cargo-handling agent in Hong Kong International Airport from 19 July 2010.
Mandala Airlines based in Jakarta, Indonesia, operates scheduled services to 3 international and 17 domestic destinations, using a fleet of narrow body Aircrafts. The airline is positioning itself as a provider of safe and reliable service combined with a competitive pricing scheme.
The airline launched its inaugural flight to Hong Kong on 19 July 2010, commencing its daily service between Hong Kong and Jakarta. Mr. Daniel Boy, General Manager of AAT said, “ We would like to welcome Mandala Airlines and look forward to a successful partnership."

Asia Airfreight Terminal Co., Ltd. (AAT) is a cargo terminal operator based in Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). Operating on a franchise awarded by the Airport Authority of Hong Kong (AAHK), AAT combines a well-designed terminal with state-of-the-art material handling systems and innovative use of IT (for cargo management and truck control) to provide a comprehensive range of services from physical cargo handling to documentation processing for airlines operating at HKIA. It started its business in July 1998 with only 12 customer airlines and since then, it has grown its business to providing services to more than 30 customer airlines today.

It has also achieved Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) 18001 and the Technology Asset Protection Association (TAPA) Class A Certification in recognition of its continuous effort to improve its management systems for employees’ health and safety, and cargo security respectively.
