Senior Manager - Business Development
- Report to Division Head to support Sales & Marketing Division
- Develop strategies to realize commercial opportunities and minimize risks to the business
- Create and develop business relationship and commercial opportunities to increase the company’s income through existing and potential new clients
- Identify new market opportunities & construct business proposal to secure the deals, contracts and long term relationships to achieve company’s strategic and business objectives
- Provide decision support to the management by engaging in data analysis, feasibility analysis, research and market assessment activities of various business scenarios
- Manage the selling & negotiation strategy, tender, quotation, proposals, and commercial agreements
- Plan and manage the business projects from concept to execution by cross-divisional collaboration
- Manage customer care & retention, and customer acquisition
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the company’s portfolio and working knowledge of competitor products/services and market intelligence
- Obtain customer feedback on products/service quality and share with management to continuously improve the business operations
- Plan & manage the annual budget and business reports to monitor business performance
- Ensure that the management is constantly appraised of the commercial activity, market opportunities, status, trends and business developments
- Develop and maintain an excellent rapport with key stakeholders such as clients, suppliers, community organizations, regulatory bodies etc
- Represent the organization at trade exhibitions or conferences, events, demonstrations and other related activities
- Conduct business travel as required
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Finance, Economics, or a similar discipline
- 10 years or above experiences in Marketing, Commercial, Business Development, or Business operations management
- Candidate of less but relevant working experiences and potentials may be considered
- Relevant working experiences in third-party warehouse logistics (3PL), e-commerce logistics, air cargo logistics, aviation related industry, air freight forwarding, etc. will be highly preferable
- Working experiences or exposure in international market or China market will be a plus
- Immediate available is highly preferred
- Organized, meticulous, confident, hard-working, and willing to learn
- Self Starter with initiative to innovate, change or develop into new opportunities
- Strategic thinker with the ability to understand market and business intelligence for identifying opportunities
- Strong sense of ownership and commitment
- Sales oriented and result oriented
- Excellent business acumen, with strong business analytical skills
- Strong project planning & management skill, and handling multiple projects, assignments and duties
- Good written and spoken of English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and good presentation and communication skills
- Flexible to change and adapt to ever-changing market environment
- High self-discipline and business ethnics
- Good team player and good interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing. Knowledge of presentation tools or creatives design will be a plus.
- Ability to work independently
