IT Application Manager
- Lead the Systems Analyst and Analyst Programmer to select or develop and maintain the AAT's applications including HRMS and conduct different tasks within Software Development Lifecycle
- Prepare work-plan, organize tasks for the team and be responsible for IT solution delivery of the system meeting our quality, timelines, and budget requirements
- Lead a team to liaise with vendors on requirement study and implementation of TCS, ERP, Staffapp, CMS and other systems
- Lead a team to understand user requirements and perform system study of TCS, ERP, Staffapp, CMS and other systems
- Lead a team to perform database/file maintenance of TCS, ERP, Staffapp, CMS and other systems
- Lead a team to understand user requirements and perform system study of other computer systems in AAT
- Lead a team to evaluate, install, test, implement and maintain the software application and subsequent upgrades/fixes
- Work with department head to setup Project Management standards and ITSM processes for teams to follow
- Lead a team to trouble-shoot application problems and if necessary, liaise with vendors to resolve problems
- Lead a team to maintain IT applications/services and IT project related documentations
- Manage vendors’ performance and have continuous improvements
- Degree holder or equivalent qualification in IT or related fields with minimum 5 years of experience in project team, with good understanding of various activities during project lifecycles
- Certificate holder of PMP is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence tools
- Previous experience in logistics industry and working with outsourcing vendor will be of added advantage
- Knowledge and experience in J2EE based architecture, UML, 00 Design, XML, RDBMS, open source and web-based technologies (e.g. hiberate and struts)
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
