AAT Annual Inspection of Fixed Electrical System for Terminal 1 on 30th Jan and Terminal 2 on 9th Feb 2025

1.  Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT) is committed to provide the best service for our valued customers. In order to comply with statutory requirement for electrical safety and ensure the highest level of operational efficiency of our systems, we are going to conduct annual inspection of fixed electrical system on 30th January 2025 (Thursday) from 09:00 to 18:00 for Terminal 1 and on 9 th February 2025 (Sunday) from 09:00 to 15:00 for Terminal 2.

2.  During the above period, power supply for part of the facilities will be temporarily affected. In order to mitigate the impact on operations, we would like to seek your kind support as follows:

     2.1 For Cargo Agents, Truckers, Consignees and Consignors

                     Please collect the physical import cargo from AAT as early as possible and deliver the physical export cargo to AAT on time to ensure smoother handling.

     2.2 For Customer Airlines

                    (A) Import Cargo

  1. For import cargo that requires special handling (including temperature-controlled) with STA scheduled on 30th January 2025 (Thursday) from 09:00 to 18:00 and on 9th February 2025 (Sunday) from 09:00 to 15:00, please send pre-alert messages to our Service Control Centre via e-mail bcp@aat.com.hk 48 hours prior to flight arrival so that we can make prior arrangements.

                    (B) Export Cargo

  1. For export cargo that requires special handling (including temperature-controlled) with STD scheduled on 30th January 2025 (Thursday) from 09:00 to 18:00 and on 9th February 2025 (Sunday) from 09:00 to 15:00, please send pre-alert messages to our Service Control Centre via e-mail bcp@aat.com.hk 48 hours prior to flight departure so that we can make prior arrangements.

  2. Please provide the final Cargo Booking Advice as per below timeline:

  1. Before 18:00 on 28th January 2025 (Tuesday) for all flights with STD scheduled on 30th January 2025 (Thursday) from 09:00 to 18:00; and

  2. Before 18:00 on 7th February for all flights with STD scheduled on 9th February 2025 (Sunday) from 09:00 to 15:00.

  1. For the physical export cargo cutoff time, it will remain unchanged and please advise your cargo agents to deliver export cargo to AAT on time to ensure cargo uplifted as booked.

  2. Our colleagues will follow up with your teams to ensure smooth handling.
