Q7. How will AAT handle cargo under 24hours Dangerous Goods Storage and Relocation Scheme?

Storage of Dangerous Goods is restricted to 24 hours in air cargo terminal. No storage facility is available for explosives. Dangerous Goods storage exceeding 24 hours would be relocated to an off-airport warehouse, and all related charges for relocation are payable by the consignee or the responsible party.
DG cargo stored in AAT exceeding 24 hours, whether as import or export, could be relocated to satisfy the legal requirement.

Inbound DG Cargo
For Inbound DG cargo subjected to this regulation and stored over ATA + 24 hours (including holidays), AAT will relocate the cargo to the off-airport DG warehouse.
(Allied DG Warehouse – Address: 3 Kin Fat Street, Tuen Mun., Customer Services Hotline: +852 2485 0091)
AAT will finalize a list of cargo that needs to be relocated to the off-airport DG warehouse at 1700hr.
