Raising the Bar - AAT Unveils Upgraded Service Standards for General Import Cargo Breakdown
Effective 1 June 2015, AAT significantly raised and established a stringent upgraded service standard for general import cargo breakdown. This upgraded service standard is AAT's continuous commitment to deliver the best and excellent services for the customers and bring the service standards to new heights.
AAT has continuously invested in state-of-art facilities, developing well trained and professional workforce in order to enhance the service standards for customers. This upgraded service standard shortens the cargo breakdown time significantly by up to three hours. Staying at the forefront of industry, AAT is always determined to provide its valuable customers with the highest convenience, efficiency & flexibility.

*For ‘Passenger/Combi', the standard of cargo breakdown time is effectively less than 3 hours for cargo at less than 10 tons, and less than 4 hours for cargo at 10 tons or more.

This upgraded service standard is another milestone which has fully manifested our continual pursuit to bring the service standards to the next level. In addition, a series of upcoming service upgrade projects are already in the pipeline to be unveiled soon, among which is to upgrade one of our security screening machines in the third quarter of 2015. In addition, AAT has successfully certified as the Platinum Member of Cargo 2000 GHA and attained ISAGO Registration. In terms of security, AAT has attained the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) Freight Security Requirements (FSR) Warehouse Classification A Certification (enhanced 2014 Version), the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) - the highest Tier 2 status of compliance to required security and safety standards accredited by Hong Kong Customs & Excise Department (the first Air Cargo Terminal Operator (CTO) in Hong Kong to attain such accreditation), and the EU Regulated Agent (RA3) status. AAT has also accomplished the Good Distribution Practices (GDP) Certification for Pharmaceutical Products, demonstrating AAT's commitment and determination to drive the industry standards forward.
