Hong Kong, 08 November 2023 - Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT), a subsidiary of SATS Ltd, is honored to receive the “Supply Chain Innovator of the Year (Cold Chain)” award at the prestigious Supply Chain Asia Awards 2023. This recognition follows on the heels of AAT being recently named 'Cold Chain Service Provider of the Year for Asia Pacific'*, solidifying its position as a leader in the cold chain industry.

The AAT COOLPORT is a purpose-built facility in the SATS ecosystem and represents a significant milestone as Hong Kong's first on-airport cold chain facility with a dedicated temperature-controlled environment. It offers one-stop hassle-free cold chain solution that seamlessly handles cargo from arrival in the terminal to cargo breakdown or build-up, security screening, storage, and final delivery, all under the correct ambient temperature
“Since we launched the system, Asia Pacific fruit, seafood, and meat importers have used the facility, and we believe that demand for such temperature-sensitive exports from source markets like South East Asia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, etc. will continue to increase,” said Mr Chew.
