Shipment Tracking

Multiple Tracking

Implementation of 100% ” mRCL Pre-declaration” with effect from 1st July 2013

AAT understands speed and efficiency are crucial in the air cargo industry. AAT Internet Management System (AIMS) offers a series of functions that allows our customers to gain the competitive edge vital in logistics business today.

mRCL Pre-declaration is a function that eliminates unnecessary waiting time for processing of RCLs at the terminal. By entering the export shipment details in AIMS before cargoes are delivered to AAT, users can simply print the mRCL at their own office and submit it together with the AWB. This function saves time and resources for shippers / freight forwarders.

Moreover, to be adherence to the new ICAO air cargo security standards to be applicable on 15 July 2013, security status of air cargo shall be assigned by the consignor. With this function, it facilitates the handling process stipulated in the Handling Procedures for Regulated Agent Regime.

With effect from 1 Jul 2013, 100% bulk, prepacked and mix-prepacked cargoes are required to have shipment details submitted through AIMS before delivery to AAT. Failure to comply may result in rejection of cargo at the terminal. Still, you can create an mRCL Pre-declaration at our workstation at 1/F Customer Service Counter before proceeding to Cargo Acceptance Office for cargo acceptance.

To begin using mRCL Pre-declaration function, users should be a member of AAT AIMS. Registration for AIMS is FREE and can be easily done online via http://www.aat.com.hk
